It’s called a Velorex, and it uses leather instead of steel for the body.

Sam, did you see that 3-wheeler in Lombard? That guy lives down the street from me. He also has a Skoda in the driveway.

Yep, he cruised up and down a couple times. There was a Morgan 3-wheeler as well.

Cool. I’ve seen him drive that car more than the Skoda. Actually I was shocked to see the Skoda move when I saw it on the road a few years ago, because it never had before that.

That’s cool!
The guy down the street from me has that weird 3-wheeler, the Skoda (which almost never gets driven, and also has had Ontario plates on it for the entire 6-years I’ve lived in the neighborhood), and he recently bough a 996 Porsche.

The Velorex?!? We need pics of that and the Skoda. They have to only one of a few dozen of each in the USA.

The Velorex lives in his garage, so any pic I could get would be no better (likely worse). I’ll get a pic of the Skoda next time I walk past, that one lives in the driveway. It’s had Ontario plates the whole 6 years I’ve lived in the neighborhood. I posted a pic of it once, but that was a couple years ago.

Found the pic. I don’t know why he doesn’t plate it; it’s been legal to import for several years now. Also, has it really been two years since the Canyonrado twins were introduced? I feel old. I blame you and your post history, lol.

Ha! You feel old? Just wait!
I assume he hasn’t “imported” it so he doesn’t have to pay taxes and whatnot on it. I’m sure it’s not exactly legal for him to just leave Ontario plates in it, but the local PD doesn’t seem to care (nor do I of course)
